Q2 @autumnmeyer25 Moms, often complain they can’t get any me-time. What would you suggest? #momlifechats

Ah, it's so hard! The best advice I have is to really reframe "me time". For example, I used to think that meant I need to be alone, feeling indulged, and have something tasty (😂). But with little (tandem!) nursing kiddos that just wasn't happening. So I began to redefine "me time". It became walking with one in the stroller and one on my back. It became deep breaths with positive thoughts (sounds so woo woo but helps!) or mantras while I washed the dishes. Now, I work self-care into my every day. Self massage, 5 sun salutations wherever I can fit them in, standing on my back deck taking three slows sips of coffee before I face the day. Podcasts while I wash the dishes. Over on my IG I'm sharing accessible and free self care tips daily under the hashtag #selfcarestory and nearly of them are doable with a baby on your hip. Me time is what you make it, and while I think there is IMENSE value to time alone-alone doing what you want-how you want, it just isn't always accessible. But some self loving and caring thoughts are, and can get you a surprisingly long way with some direction. #momlifechats
