Electrical tape wont snag and shouldn't peel easily either! Whatever you decide will be great

@kambam Oh okay well I thought about the tape too and yarn and thought it may start snagging on the clothes. I just wanted to find a cheap alternative instead of having to buy all new hangers

It could rub off on clothes. There might be some non toxic brands though. You can also wrap them in colored tape or yarn etc
