Today is the day I must leave my baby and return to work. I know this is a necessary transition but I'm so sad. Grateful that I have the opportunity to work to support my family but heartbroken to have to leave her to do so. Blessed that her daddy and my family will watch over her while I work nights as a labor and delivery charge nurse. I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
