Today is the day I must leave my baby and return to work. I know this is a necessary transition but I'm so sad. Grateful that I have the opportunity to work to support my family but heartbroken to have to leave her to do so. Blessed that her daddy and my family will watch over her while I work nights as a labor and delivery charge nurse. Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier
Paternity leave
How long are your husbands or SO getting off for paternity leave? My husband is only getting 1 week off. Then he leaves again. He works in the oilfields so he's always gone. I'm so upset it can't be longer. I'm more than likely having another c-section so it's going to be hard recovering plus handling a newborn and two year old. Makes me sad ?
