Are at home dopplers worth the money? Tips and tricks with them? Are they reliable? Are they safe?…

I think they are worth the money. If you get a good one it can be reliable, you aren't a professional so you won't always be able to find the heartbeat, but a lot of doctors are nice enough to show you how to use them.

Some people say its a waste of money, some people say they're not. I personally didn't worry about getting one. As far as I know, i believe they're safe. And if you don't pick up the heartbeat every time, its nothing to worry about. Were not trained professionals like doctors lol the further along you are the easier it is to find the heart beat though. I wouldn't trust it in the first trimester. Baby is really small and to find the heart probably won't be consistent enough for you, to where you won't worry. And then in the 2nd trimester, when you start to feel their movements, you won't even need it anymore lol so I think that's why some people think it's a waste of time and money. But others think its a great investment. Just gonna have to see what works for you.

I have one I love listen to my baby heartbeat but I don't use it much only when I haven't felt baby that much but when ur not that far along it's hard to find baby heart the key is if u listen to Are heart it's slow and baby's heart is fast u will tell the difference

@brittany_blessing, I had one for my daughter. Was worth every penny. I still have mine (and will forever) because of the memories it holds. I used mine maybe once a week. If used too frequent, I don't think it's good for baby. I bought mine from Amazon. I was 14 weeks though when I got it, so it was easy for me to detect the heartbeat. The BMP never seemed accurate to me, but just being able to hear her heart beat was the peace of mind I needed if I felt she wasn't moving enough.

I have the womb music one you can get off amazon. I love it. I couldn't find a heartbeat until 10 or 11 weeks, I can't remember now. There are lots of YouTube videos on how to use it. I don't use it that much since I can feel her move but I used it all the time in the beginning every day. 😌
