(Sorry its going to be long) Okay so before I start about what happened last evening/night let me tell u a little background. My mom went to the ER 2 nights ago for what she thoguht was a really weird asthma attack and come to find out her blood count is extremely low (like only a point away from a blood transfusion) and her salt level was low. What red blood cells She did have were pale and not getting the oxygen around her body. She followed up with the doc who refused to do bloodwork until Monday (this was Friday) and was a real ass about it.
So fast fwd to last evening I was hanging at my mom's before I had to go to my weknd client on my weknd off for the night since her live in has to work. (Its just to spend the night there since she can't be alone ovr night) well my mom starred having one of those attacks (only second time) and I have to calm her down and keep her from passing out on me and so I got my step dad and we got her rdy to go to the ER again to be checked out cuz something is def going on. At this point I just get done with her to the point I felt comfortable to walk out of the room but still in ear shot my phone starts to ring. We had these downpours come thru and my husband Jack knifed his truck and the truck is completely gone. Thankfully he got out but they were worried about his wrist and arm. So now my husband is being transported to a hospital (which is 2hrs away from me but only 15 mins from the crash) and I had to go into my clients for the night. So I went in a got her around and permission to take her with me and drove the 2hrs in the dark and fog to the hospital. His wrist is broken but they don't think it'll need surgery (thankfully) and he has seat belt burns all over his arms. They all said he was lucky only to have those things. Apparently as he was driving he felt a slight shift behind him (going downhill in a downpour) He hit a big bump in the road and his trailer started to slip out from behind him. He swerved into the left lane to try and recover it (thankfully No one was there cuz he probably would have killed them) and thoguht he did recover it for a few secs then ended up hitting the barrier and sliding across the road. Thankfully the other side was a dirt mountainside that the truck slid into and helped it come to a stop other wise he probably would have flipped it and been in a lot worse shape. He actually thought he was going to flip it. So after going the 2hrs to see him/pick him up we had to go where the truck was towed to get his car keys and such out of it then to his terminal so drop off paper work (thankfully his dad is gonna bring his car home)and then we finally got to my clients house. We happened upon another accident on the way to terminal right after it happened the car was flipped ovr and it looked pretty bad. We stopped and made sure 911 was called and that everyone was out since we r both certified to help. So here in a bit we will finally be heading home (gonna crash some more since we really only got a nap in) and then Tom we have to call and go to the ortho to get his wrist casted. Only upside is he will be off work until the cast comes off (4-6 weeks) but workmans comp only covers a percentage of his lost wage so we will see what we can do to make it thru and we don't kno if he will still have a job after this or not. Right now I'm just glad he is alive and my mom got home from the hospital and they still didn't do anything to figure out what is going on.

@kitcatmeow8383 Well we're not worried about insurance since it was his company's tractor trailer and it'll all be covered there. As for my mom she did go back and yes her level before was around 8 but I guess they don't do the transfusion until 7 but her doc refused to do anything about it. Thankfully it was up a tiny bit late night but it's still very low and it's worrisome but they havnt done anything to help rise it like give her iron pills or anything. So what's going on with her is up in the air but yes extremely thankful he is okay and okay has a broken wrist. It could have been a hell of a lot worse
