I don't care that you have seen her face plastered all over the news, this beautiful girl is and will always be my best friend, 12 years of friendship and nothing will change that, I hate that so many people are making her out to be a monster, people that don't even know her, she is an amazing person inside and out, someone who made a mistake, yess my soul hurts for the family's involved in this tragic accident, but my soul also hurts for her, she is hurting to, so if you have said anything negative or thought anything negative please know she is hurting to, she is a human being, a daughter, a mother, a best friend, she hurts to!!

I saw a fb post about her. I grew up in Rockwall too. Small world. I hope they don't prosecute her too harshly, but justice should be served. Drunk driving is not cool but I'm sure this has changed her life forever. Poor thing!

@krider_randi, so sorry you and your friend are going through this. One of my best friends, also in the DFW area had a similar experience. He was and is an amazing guy, one of the nicest guys I know. He got behind the wheel of a car and smashed into another car. The person in the other car lived.l but is in a vegetative state. My friend got 7.5 years. He has served 5.5 or 6 and is getting out now to somewhat of a halfway house. It kills me that he learned this way, but the night of the accident, all of our close friends had a conference call and swore we would never drink and drive again. Honestly it could have been any of us at any point in time. Everyone thinks they aren't that intoxicated. Prayers for you, her, and everyone involved. If there is one thing I learned (and I see your doing), give her the love and support she deserves! Your an amazing friend!!!

We have all made mistakes at some point, the only difference between me and her is I've never caused anyone to get killed but I can't tell you how many times I've gotten behind the wheel after drinking,I just can't stand so many people saying such negative things about her people that don't even know her, they don't realize that her friends and family see the things that they are saying and it kills us to hear it.
