When my DD would get sick I'd keep her in a diaper, cool baths, and keep her hydrated. If a high fever persisted for more then 2 days then I'd give her meds. A fever is the bodies own natural way of fighting w/e is making them sick. I never wanted to interfere with that as it helps to build their immune system.

No blanket! I know that's hard but at this age they can't regulate their body temperature

Alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen every six hours if it doesn't go down after that then go get seen or if it gets higher a rectal temp of 102 or higher is when they should be seen unless otherwise directed my son had to be seen anytime he went over 99 but he has kidney problems
