You could do without the apple juice and how often are you burping her during a feeding?

@sawyersmom @parkersmommy0416 about every 3 ounces. Its not a lot but yesterday it was enough to wet my shirt pretty good. I noticed when my mother in law feeds her she doesn't ever burp her, I'm the only one that does it. Because thats how my mom taught me

@sawyersmom I give her apple juice because my mother in law tells me to. Its her kid, not mine. But I'm watching her because the baby sitter is full RN😊 she also give her lemonade which I dont think is very good for her

That kinda sounds like a lot, 6 oz sounds fine, but does she show interest in eating Gerber? And do you water down the juice? I didn't really full time feed my son until he showed interest, I do feed him solids now but like once or twice a day. Only because he gets mad I don't share food haha

@sawyersmom @parkersmommy0416 @bluepenguin she doesn't even dilute the juice either. Idk if thats a MUST but I did it with my niece when she was a baby, and even when she was a toddler

@bluepenguin she does show interest in the Gerber. She gets all Happy when I show her and she sits there with her mouth open until I put the spoon in there. Sometimes she tries to feed herself but its mostly hands for right now😂😂 shell only eat apple and peaches

@resaa_sanchezz yeah I understand, well if she like it. I put my son on Soy to stop spitting up. He will spit up once in a while, mostly because he just ate and would go on. His tummy haha, but he used to spit up so much and was on gentle ease formulas, Similac is definitely hell, the Similac soy even makes him spit up, I don't like similac because it gets all foamy like soda or something. But he rarely spits up now

I used like any gentle ease formula, even regular. I used Enfamil Enterprise in the beginning, then Gerber, then Similac, then switched to gentle ease Similac, Gerber, Enfamil and still had spit up, so then I use target bran up and up soy

@resaa_sanchezz yeah I know, the best you can do is try switching formulas, maybe instead of juice, give water, but only a little bit, and if she's 6 months, because my SIL fed my son water at 4 months and I wanted to murder her 😡 I still to this day don't give my son juice, I feel it's too much sugar. But I'm sure the juice probably isn't making her throw up. Maybe her tummy isn't ready for the baby food? I remember trying to feed my son baby food at 5 months and he'd just spit up right after. So I waited until he was 6 months and he took it better, I know she's 6 months but every baby is different, don't worry!

@bluepenguin they dont have any snacks for her. Is either formula, Gerber or juice. And I dont really like giving her juice because I feel like she's too young. Sometimes they even give her koolaid. I'm like UMMMM NO!

I would burp her every ounce or two ounces. And while she is with you I just wouldn't give her juice lol

I work at a peds office and was talking to the doctor because I love learning about children. Some apple juices cause the runs, and may upset babies tummies.
