My husband and I made a plan over a year ago for our future and the future of our family. Before I found out I was pregnant I was planning on joining the military. Just when I started the enlistment process was actually how I found out I was pregnant. So we both sat down and he says to me that he's decided to join the Army Reserves as a first step and we agree he's going to go off and do that ASAP and I will stay, finish school, continue working, and join when I'm able to after the baby.
SO NOW he's finished with his training and is in the Reserves and working. I'm done with school, had the baby, back to work, etc. So as per our plan I'm starting to get ready to begin the enlistment process again by making sure I'm in the right shape etc. I have to wait at least until our daughter is 6 months which is their rules. So I'm taking to my husband about everything and he's like "oh you're still doing that?"
Mind you this is something I genuinely want to do and have wanted to do for awhile now. It's not something I'm doing because we need money or I feel I have to. This was a real goal I set for myself and now he's acting as though I'm stupid for setting it and treating me like I won't be able to do it. I'm like hello do you not remember when we discussed this months ago and he just keeps brushing it off.
He even said I don't want you to be gone for that long. HELLO I had to deal with you being gone for my entire pregnancy as well as the birth of our daughter give me a break!

I'd still do it. That's just me though. I'd bring it to his attention that I'm doing it, but again that's just how I'd do it.

@chocolatemomma Oh I am totally still doing it. I'm so excited to finally get to do what I want to do. Now he's on about how he doesn't think it's for me and how hard it was. 🙄 Please I'll do better than he did and he can either continue to be bitter or he can be proud of me.
