I won't lie when I say that Thad and I ask ourselves if it's worth having a dog when we have enough to do with the kids (usually after she's gotten into the trash or hurled on the carpet) but moments like this make me know that even after Sydney's gone we'll probably get another one. I'm convinced God made dogs different from all the other animals for special companions 💜
