I'm not finding much on google, and the last few times I've asked a question here, I didn't get much feedback, but I figured I'd try again.
So: my daughter will be two years old on Sunday. She's always loved milk, and drank it willingly with no issues. Last night, like always, I got her ready for bed and gave her her milk. She acted like it was sour or something and was like, "blah!" and set it down. I figured, whatever, and sent her to bed. She usually (still 😅) wakes up once a night around 3am. And, she did last night like normal. I made her a warm milk - which normally puts her back to sleep - but she refused it again! And, because she wasn't soothed back to sleep by the warm milk, she woke up fully and was up from 3am-5:30am. 😤. And, now she's refusing the milk again! I even went out and bought a whole new gallon because I was worried it has possibly gone bad. I'm not concerned with her calcium intake; she eats fine, and gets lots of calcium elsewhere, but I AM concerned that she's going to wake up again tonight at 3am and we will have a repeat of last night. 😴. Has anyone else's toddler all of a sudden rejected milk? What should I do to soothe her back to sleep tonight when she wakes up in the middle of the night? I mean, I'll walk her, and try and calm her, but that's what I did last night. Help! 🤞🏼

Mmm my 2 year old never refuses, maybe she is teething? I use calming essential oil before bed for her.

@ukrainian, I'll try some oils! At her year and a half dentist checkup, he said she had every single one of her teeth. Apparently she got them all kind of early. So, she's been done teething for about 6 months now. I'm thinking she may just be exercising her right to refuse and be a little brat. 😂

She might just be refusing because she can and wants to be in control. I read about something like that when my son was refusing food he liked normally

Maybe she just isn't liking the taste of the milk anymore. You might have to try some almond or coconut milk

@mittenmommy17x, no :/ and, I went out and bought a new gallon and she's still refusing it. Ugh! Lol.

@santistevanmommie, definitely a possibility! I'm vegan, and keep almond milk in the house. She doesn't care for it, but I'll try that again. I used to give it to her instead of cows milk, but, it doesn't fill her up the same. She always acts like she wants something else. I'll try some soy milk though - I hear it's heavier.
