@miniwolfe My SO has two kids ages 2 and 4 I have no bio kids. There are days I feel completely used cause I am literally raising his kids alone. He never helps out and when I ask it starts a fight so I don't even bother anymore and bio mom isn't around.
My husband is all hands on when it comes to our daughter. He cooks for our daughter, plays with her, takes her baths, dresses her, does her hair, watches cartoons with her, dances with her, plays video games with her, takes her to the doctors, takes her shopping, puts her to bed, brushes her teeth, cuddles with her when she's sick, he will even lose sleep for her, makes doctors appointments for her. He works most weeks 50+ hours unless she's sick then it's less because he will call into work and tell his boss his princess is sick so he has to stay home or he can't stay late. My husband is so involved with our daughter he offers to change blowouts and her vomit. He's been thrown up on, peed on, pooped on and he will still volunteer to clean her up and the mess up before he cleans himself up.
@karadearing2332 Thank you it's so freaking hard... and honestly I don't know what to do anymore. I'm so attached to his kids I'm afraid if I call it quits the kids wouldn't be took care of cause I've been doing everything since the youngest was 5 months.
@ablaub i had a friend like you a few years ago. U have a big heart. .but u may need to move on with ur life. Do u want kids if ur own? Obviously hes not the guy to have them with. Do u feel like ur wasting ur time?
@karadearing2332 absolutely there are days were I feel like I am wasting my time. I feel unappreciated and just plain used cause I offered my home to him and his kids and now I feel like I am a slave in my own home. I do absolutely everything for his kids while he works and when he comes home he spends his entire time on his computer ignoring us all. His kids beg for his attention but he is too selfish to even care. I feel completely disrespected to say the least..
@karadearing2332 as for wanting kids of my own hell yeah I want that more than anything and sadly I know if I ever do end up pregnant I will be raising the child alone and sadly I'm so used to it that I'm completely fine with the idea.
My husband and I both work. Me only 3 days a week(15hours.), he works 70/80 hour weeks. I do night time routine. (Dinner. Bath. Bed.) and then when he gets home he does everything else. If she wakes in the middle of the night, he puts her back to bed. He also gets up with her in the morning giving me an hour or two extra of sleep, then I get up and go to work. 11:00am-4pm. He does breakfast and lunch, and then he leaves for work and I'm then home again for the night routine. On his days off, he also adds bathtime to his list of things he does, but I still put her down to sleep. All in all I'd say it's about 40% me, 60% him. Hahah!

@miniwolfe @asiaanddonovanmommy I'm so jealous I get zero help. His excuse is he provides for the family which is complete bullshit.

@miniwolfe I pray everyday my SO grows up cause he is truly missing out in his children's early stages in life.
