What should i expect at my baby's first dentist appointment? She's 18 months

Check the teeth, count them, brush them. I can't remember. I started at 7 months to get them comfortable

They wont to take xrays she is to small they will just look in her mouth check for cavities and make sure all the teeth that came in, came in on time

For me they looked in my daughter's mouth. Counted how many teeth she had and where they were at. Then brushed her teeth and that was it.

They start that young ?

I was told I can't bring my daughter into the dentist till she is 4...

I just took my daughter yesterday (13 mo). They looked in her mouth, cleaned them and then we brushed. That was it. Said no X-rays till 3 yrs old and come back in 6 months.

I take my older boy when he turned 1 year and 6 months. They didn't take X-rays, they checked for cavities, they gave him a toothbrush & showed him how to use it (even tho he already knew lol) they cleaned his teeth real fast, gave him baby toothpaste and toothbrush and that was it. They told me I could bring him back in again In 6 months to a 1 year just for a check up. My little one will almost be a year and 6 months so I'll probably just take them both in together
