I'm so humbled... we live about 10+ hours away from our family and friends... we've basically gotten use to depending on ourselves for everything... since moving here 3 years ago, I've had 2 high risk pregnancies, and my father had died, and I was in charge of settling his estate... so we've not had the opportunity to meet many new people, or develop new friendships... there is a neighbor in our apartment complex who has really been very kind to us... I informed her about the birth of our little girl, and she has set up something called a meal train for us online, and although I appreciated the gesture, I never expected anyone to participate in it, because we don't know anyone locally... She made us a huge meal last night and dropped it off... and that was SO kind in itself, and I really expected it to end there... but this morning we just got emails that 2 other people (whom we've never met) I believe they are friends of hers, have signed up to bring us dinners this week! Words can not even express how shocked I am, at the kindness of others! I've always tried very hard to help others in this way... but I've never been on the receiving end of something like this! What a blessing!
