So I try not to be "mean" to any person but on this other app I use another new mother posted a comment stating that she couldn't get into a physician until sept and she is already 14 weeks. Now I am 13 and have yet to see an actually OB and I won't until aug 9. I've gone to a clinic. Saw the baby and heart rate and just had blood work done a couple days ago. Another lady on there is telling the new mom that it's extremely dangerous and she needs to be seen asap. Now (knock on wood) I've had no bleeding or really any concerns but should I be seen earlier? I've had the nurses at this office tell me it's fine unless there are concerns. Now I'm a nurse so I tend to look past things but this other mom has me a little upset that she is freaking us both out. I mean there are people that don't even know there are pregnant until the 6 month.

That is foolish. Most offices don't see you until 12 weeks. Smh

I think it's fine especially if you have heard the baby's heartbeat and everything a lot of doctors want even schedule you an appointment until your 12 weeks

Right. It isn't that serious. I dislike when people immediately say the worst. Like my baby hasn't had a wet diaper in an hour and here comes stable mable talking about take them to the er immediately. They could die from dehydration. Smh. I seriously dislike that about this app because you can reassure them after that

@jahniesha, yes thank you. I just did the blood work so I am waiting for the results but I'm sure if there were any concerns they will let me know.

@ashleydunn, ok. Well I did call the physician anyway and asked if I could get in sooner but I'm not going to steer it too much if they can't.

@beebaby, exactly! A lot of times I have to look past some of the "advice" given because suddenly a mother of 6 now has an MD in parenting and birthing a child.

Yes and she should know even though we as nurses are updated yearly on changes in medicine but we wouldn't have a clue

I didn't see a doctor until I was 13 weeks and I am pretty sure I was 15 weeks before I had my first ultrasound.

I didn't get in to my ob until I was about 14wks. People on here tend to force their own views and opinions it's very annoying

I've been seen as soon as I found out I was pregnant with each baby but they don't even do much of anything they just take another pregnancy test and maybe do s ultrasound I think it's fine if u wait a bit I hate going to my appointment and waiting forever just to pee in a cup and get weighed measured then leave ughhhhh like why can't I go once every few months instead every 2-4 weeks!!!!!! Lol
