I know hand me downs and clothing from people are a great thing. What just gets me a little flustered is the fact that if it's something big like I.e a bassinet , I would recommend people to clean it before they give it. Like it's common courtesy. I just cleaned the hell out of it and now washing clothes and the linen on the bassinet. It was so gross. Trust me. Y'all saw a before picture , you would've said ew and think "not putting my daughter or son in there ". 😖

I won't even take a bassinet or anything like that as a hand me down. Most I would take is clothes and only from close friends or family.

I usually take clothing from people and wash them, but buy new baby items don't trust people sorry that probably sounds harsh, but truth for me

@babylove11416, I say that just keep my baby safe from illness or anything. Sometimes cleaning isn't enough. And I prefer to be safe rather than sorry. Just my preference
