@sawyersmom He Has Had 4 Heart attacks and still didn't qualify for disability.

Damn that sucks. I would keep trying. It takes a lot of times to get disability approved

@mommy2be26 he's been trying non stop for 4 years. 3 heart attacks happened in one month. He almost died the first time. If he hadn't gotten it from that time, he probably won't get it. We are near austin.

This sounds terrible. But tell your parents to get divorced so your mom isn't financially responsible for your dads hospital bills and let him accumulate the medical bills

@sawyersmom nah. I tried my whole childhood to do that. My mom is already financially responsible for him in every sense. He can't work and she hasn't paid his bills from the previous surgeries and such. Plus if they can't afford insurance, how they afford a divorce?

A divorce would cost 300 insurance would cost 300 a month. They can still stay together in every other sense. But if he anything happens to him at least she wont be responsible in the end. This is a terrible situation though

@sawyersmom that's how marriage works. She knew what she was getting herself into. She was a widow at 20. Her first husband died of cancer. It isn't her first go around with this. They took vows and they are standing by them no matter what financial difficulties may arise.
