I worked until the day I went into labor at 39 weeks

What do you do at work?

@love.torrey I'm a cashier, I have to stand on my feet my whole shift. It just gets tiring standing up the whole time, my feet start to ache

@alexiusm, I sat at a desk all day. My last 2 months I was on my feet walking around the building. But 2 months don't compare to 9 months on your feet

@love.torrey yeah, thats why I'm kind of pondering on whether or not its time to start taking it easy🤔 I don't know, sometimes I'm feeling achy too in my lower back and shoulders, I'm just tired

@kambam yeah today at work I was thinking if i continue, I was thinking maybe between 32-35 weeks

Im glad I left because I had mine 2 weeks later. Its nice to have a break before they come

Yes I was a cashier too and I work all the way till like 2 days before I was scheduled to be induced at 40 weeks. I just had my doctor write a letter for the to let me sit when needed and to have them bring me a chair but that didn't work because at the time it was 2 other cashier pregnant with me around the same time so we was just able to rest when needed but I did 10-15 minutes every 3 hours

@mommyof2blessings. Yeah I was thinkin I should ask for a chair so that way Im sitting down when Im not with a customer. Maybe I should ask my doctor to write me a letter too

@smash6684 oh wow, haha thats one of my worries, if it happens to me at work! Did you rush home or how did it happen for you?

Its hard, i work in cosmetics/retail, 8 hrs on my feet and constantly walking all over the store and having to bend over to get things from drawers, when my tummy is big i dont know how im gonna do my job. :/

@vcostello7 yes its definitley hard, I mean to some people (who aren't pregnant) they don't think its that bad but it it is tiring!
