Does anyone really write out a Birthing Plan? I'm wanting to this time bc after every birth I wish I had one so I won't…

I did with my first, but the minute we got there it all went to crap. So I'm not even bothering this time.

I did this time but that all went to shit after I was there for an hr and a half and my iv came out, there was blood everywhere and I ended up having 9 doctors in the room when I gave birth on a shower chair. I didnt even tell them my birth plan but with all the chaos god made sure I stuck to my birth plan 😂

At my hospital someone comes and asks you about your birth plan. You can have it printed out from a template ahead of time too though.

I mentioned it to my OB which he had no problem with the idea. Its my first time going to put one together. I just want a guide to help me keep focus

With second child I just told Ob what I wanted. That was the plan until I got to hospital and the nurse had to deliver my son, was only there for an hour and took them 40 minutes to check me in. The good thing was that she changed my standing orders because I had told her I wanted to deliver 100 natural.
