It really depends on whether or not any difficulties come up but a smooth labor with no emergencies I would say 8 for me only because it was hard to push and the contractions hurt like hell but I got the epidural once I couldn't take it anymore
@momofdeuce was it scary getting the epidural? What all did you actually feel in the process? I'm scared to get it but I know I'm gonna need it. I hope you don't mind the questions.
For me It wasn't scary . I didnt look at the needle at all (I dont like needles) and all I felt was a pinch like stick and that was it . mainly because the contractions were hurting me . I'm not sure how it was for everyone else but my epidural experience was great. I plan on getting it with this one too.
My only suggestion is not to get it to early (but really its your decision) I say that because I've heard stories of it wearing off by the time it was time to push . So I have a fear of that happening.

Depends on your pain tolerance. My labor went by really fast! Like cramps x10

Labor is no walk in the park but your body is made for it! Don't fret!
