Ok single moms. I need help. Newly single mom. For about 3 months now. Two kids. A 7 month old and a 4 year old. Baby is fine obviously but 4 year old is acting in ways its hard to control. Im staying with a friend. Shes got two kids with special needs. 4 year old girl and 5 year old boy. My son has known for 3 years or so. My son gets violent with them. Makes them cry all the time. Chasing the boy and punching him over and over. My sitters will tell me he is fine but when i get home he acts different. He never listens to anything and it was never like that. Is it the change? Is it the kids? Is it me? Will it get better? Idk what to do..

He is trying to get your attention by misbehaving if you sit down and talk to him and explain things on his level to him and tell him that he shouldn't hit people, and that he should be playing nice with no hitting or being mean other wise you will have to punish him with time out or taking some playtime away, I think time out will help you alot with him

Ive never been in the situation but i would make sure your giving him some one on one time that he needs that maybe the issue but i have also watched kids who were just that way because which case you need to punish him accordingly but if he was violent before i would assume he just wants attention and he only gets it when hes bad so i would make sure that you reward good behavior better than before.
