I don't understand why women do this!! If another woman steps into your children's life you should be happy/thankful, especially if they're getting treated right & taken care of! Step parents are awesome, sometimes girls are just bitter lbs
@bm1996 yeah I might not like my kids mom's but I'd never tell them to hate that parent. I feel like it could go both ways considering my sons mom hasn't been around in over a year
@shayla.galloway, right, my boyfriends ex (mother of his son) doesn't care too much to see her son, buy him clothes, etc. she doesn't like me at ALL & she better not starting telling him to hate me bc she's mad & bitter 🙄 like girl you don't even want to care for you son & when you do you complain.
@bm1996 for real it's complete bullshit. I have two step kids ages 4 and 2 years old I've been in their lives since the youngest was 5 months old. Bio mom is in and out constantly and sadly she only seems to want to be a parent around the holidays when her family comes to town. I am raising these kids like my own. I put my life on hold for them and put them first. I stepped forward when she backed down and decided other things were more important. I gave them my home so they had a stable environment to call home. I've gone above and beyond for them and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. Then to have her bash me?? Like really??
@ablaub, at the end of the day, you're doing the right thing COMPLETELY. You're their mommy figure & they will love you forever for that. When those babies grow up they'll come to understand that their bio mom was never a real mother, you are. So she can bash you all she wants but at the end of the day you're the true hero here!
@bm1996 it's so frustrating cause the kids are so young and don't understand exactly what is going on. My 4 year old had a relationship with her mom maybe not a good and long one but she looks up to her like any other child does to their mom. But the now 2 year old has always seen me as mom cause I've never left his side and gave him the love he needed from a women figure. Bio mom is a stranger to him and he will literally scream until he makes himself sick when she does come around cause he doesn't know her. I never asked them to call me mom they chose to. But in bio moms eyes I'm the bad guy but in reality I'm not the piece of shit that created child and then left them when they need her. I would kill to have bio kids of my own.
@ablaub, some women just don't see that. I'll never understand how you can make a beautiful precious innocent child & leave them & not care for them?! & that's terrible of her to see you as the bad guy. You're the one who stepped up and did what she wouldn't do!
