They basically wasted our time and didn't tell us until we paid the application fee and applied that you have to be 21....which I am not. Which means David would have to make 3x rent by himself, which he does not (by just barely). My credit is also better than his, but they can't use it because I'm not 21. They said we'd need a cosigner, which is fine, but SURPRISE! They don't take cosigners.

They'll take section 8, but they won't look at the income or credit of a 20 year old or take a cosigner.

Thanks for wasting my time, I guess. Would've been nice to tell us that in the first damn place before we did all of this.

So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. I need some advice my ex and I broke up November 27th and we haven't gotten along at all since we have fought almost ever day since we broke up and its about everything but our daughter. Now I have this great opportunity to move to New York with my sister and work in one of the biggest hospitals. He is telling me I can't take my daughter with me when this move can benefit from my kids and me. I've decided I'm going to go means I will be leaving in 2 months.
