It's from the baby dropping down lower into your pelvis. Doesn't necessarily mean your water is about to break...

@deafmama16 but I was in L&D and was induced the DAy before. Took 12 hrs to fully dilate.

I had that pressure in my butt when I was in labor it was unbearable it was horrible. I say if it gets worse go get checked. When my pressure like that started I was at 7 cm and progressing super fast! Like the next 30 minutes my son was born! @deafmama16,

Not really lol. Other than sitting back and relaxing. Pretty much any movement and walking you do is gonna intensify it most likely.

The pressure alone won't make you go into labor, especially this early. But yeh walking especially helps baby move down more. I would try taking it easy.
