Found out on Friday, if I do a VBAC when I go in I'd have to get an epidural (no questions about it) and have to have a monitor on my stomach the whole time. No walking or anything I'd be stuck in the bed.

Generally with an epidural, you have to stay in bed and be monitored anyway. Nobody is allowed to get up after that.

@mc.squared I know that. It's just not something I want if I go in to do the VBAC. But I'd have no say in it.

The drs cannot FORCE you to get an epidural. Just because you had a long difficult labor before doesn't mean you will have another one. That's ridiculous.
