Yeh no control line means they are defective. Do you have dollar tree near you? They have pink dye tests there that are only a dollar and surprisingly sensitive.

Nope. When I was ttc a lot of women on my forum used them and the little strips you buy online for early testing before they used the more expensive ones like first response or a digital one.
