My husband and I are contemplating moving out of state to Texas. We're from San Diego, and most of my hubbie's family have relocated themselves. The cost of living in Cali, and me now being a stay at home mom has really put a financial hardship on us. We think the best thing to do would be to relocate.
I just wanted to get some feedback from any moms who may have been in my shoes at one point or another.

@kcobian00 i hear ya, we also been thinkin of moving out of state to Oregon with my inlaws.....it is extremely economical there, and beautiful. It sucks that at one time San diego was actually affordable but businesses is business san diego politics think of profits and home renters money. My husband ALWAYS worked double shifts just to still leave paycheck to paycheck :(

Cali is beautiful but very expensive.
My friend since jr high is moving her fam to Texas this month.
We moved our family to So. Oregon in 2013 but due to my hubby's medical issues we had to move back to Vegas for treatment.
My kids miss it so much. We plan on moving back once we get his care stable.

I would love to move to Oregon but I hear they don't like California so I'm kind of worried about my kids . My husband lived up there when he was younger and they tormented him so they had to move back to California.

We're thinking of moving ( Reeding) on the border of California and Oregon it's has good affordable prices.

I live in Cali now but last year my hubby and I were thinking about moving to Texas for the same reason and because he had a job opportunity there. I was looking in Austin and fell in love with everything I learned, it's adorable, family oriented and has so much land!! I still think about moving there still,Cali is beautiful but it's not set up for one income family like my husband and I , it just really sucks 🙁but best of luck
