Would it be selfish of me to get an induction once I'm full term just so I can work and take care of my kids and catch up on bills? I understand my hubby stress which is hitting me now I got my letters today but to also top off with school and personal issue. I rather have her than stress even more and cause health issue for her. I just can't handle or deal with this anymore. I need to buck up and do my part as a mother for the sake of these babies.

@shellbell0391 I am considering getting induced once I'm full term so I work to take care of my kids. I'm on government assistance and with bills pilling up, more dramas in my personal life,and stress on top of stress. I rather have my daughter in two weeks or so than have her come when she ready and with health issues because of me stressing and all the crap.

Doctors will probably advise it anyway once u hit 39 weeks

@bonbonmama if I make it that far. I can't remember if I was 38 or 39 weeks when my son was born...all I was told for now is full term

It's up to you. Just remember that being induced is not good for your body and it can stress your baby out. I would do your own research before making decisions, but you'll ultimately decide what is best.

I'd definitely wait til full term at 39 weeks before making any decisions but all the external stress in your life isn't nearly as bad for the baby as inducing and possibly having complications because of it

I say wait the longer a baby is in you the better for them..... Their eye s brain and weight etc

@deafmama16 my ob says 37 is full term. Talk to ur doc people have mixed opinions about that

@deafmama16, it's not a matter of location, many years ago 37 weeks was considered full term until new studies came out and verified that those 2 weeks are quite important for baby and now 39 weeks is universally accepted as full term
