How were you moms after you had a CSection? Asking for myself

I was in pain for the first two weeks but take your medicine and try to move around as much as you can not to much just enough so your not stiff. Because standing up or getting out of bed is the worst pain afterwards.

What @zrivera22, said lol it will be hell at first but make sure you take the meds and just walk a little every day

I couldn't get out of bed at all the first day. They all had to hand me my baby. When ian was having a hard time swaddling him in his little bassinet thing I couldn't get outta bed to help him. I kept falling down lower and lower in the elevated bed and couldn't pull myself back up. Kept falling in the crack lol. The next day I was allowed to get up and walk around but I struggled hard getting out of the bed. I couldn't sit on the toilet, couldn't change my clothes, couldn't sit in a chair without struggling lol. The nurse had to help me clean myself cause I couldn't bend over. Ian had to help me change my underwear. Going home I could barely get in and out of bed, sit on the couch, in chairs, bend over to pick something up, etc. After about a week I was much better. I am still tender/numb near my incision almost 5 months later but it only took me about a week to start feeling better. Took like 3 months before I could wear regular pants lol. My incision opened up and I had to go back to the doc. It hurt for even my underwear to be on it. Ugh

@antwonika, like the others said. Take your pain killers (I only took half the recommended dose and it did its job) and walk around

People say they have a hard time pooping but I didn't have to poo for like a week after and t didn't hurt lol

@shellbell0391, my mom had 5 c sections and she had it bad for all of them. She couldn't walk and she had bad trapped gas

@antwonika, once the medicine wears off from the c-section your going to be in pain just take your meds and move around

It sucks! The gas is killer. The fact that I felt like my body was going to break in half if I moved. You dont realize how many muscles it takes to just sit up, until you've been cut in half. My advice.... Even if you are tuff and think you can do with out the pain meds.... Go you... but Dont turn down the meds. Just because you can, doesnt mean you should. Take them!!!! And get up out of the bed and move as soon as you are able. This will be my 4th, and that's what I have learned. The quicker you move,the quicker you heal.

Oh and dont smoke!!!!! If you smoke, your incision can and more than likely will heal slower.

Take the stool softeners asap.

@sixplus1, oh no I don't smoke at all never have. I'm just kinda nervous and wanna know what I'm getting myself into. It's not a 100% permanent decision that I've made but I can either have him vaginal like my doctors want me to.

@antwonika, everyone experience is different. I was 18 for my first csection and I was walking into the food court the next morning. My body healed quickly, depends on how strong your body is. This time I might be having another cesarean but not so sure how lucky I will be. When I was induced and having contractions, I didn't feel a thing. Everything felt so unreal. I didn't go through any pains and didn't take any pain meds afterwards
