I can imagine you are nervous. I'm sure things will flow naturally once you get into the routine of things tho. Just take your time...And if things become overwhelming reach out to family or friends who can come by for an hour or so to help out.

@jx2mommy, my mom suppose to stay the nights when my husband work since I'm still recovering from c-section but she works tomorrow so I'm guessing she will only be able to come on Saturdays...I think once I get over this first night, I'll know how to manage just like the first week when I brought baby home

I was the same way the first time I had my 16 month old and newborn at the same time. You'll figure it all out though 🙂

@mandapanda2, how long did it take for you to get a routine and how long it took for your oldest to adjust

I'd say maybe a few weeks to get into a routine because it was so new. My son is still adjusting somewhat. Depends on the day. Sometimes he's really great about his little sister, other days he gets really jealous. He likes helping, so I just try to get him involved a lot with helping to make her bottles, getting me a diaper and wipes for her, and also him getting his own time with me during the day while she naps.

@kyenkenmom, oh I know that's rough my husband had to go to work the same night we came home from the hospital. I was so scared things would go wrong but it was honestly one of our easiest nights. I think she slept more than me lol
