@kristellecdn87 The more you move around and get up the faster you heal, from what I've been told by the doctors and nurses. They make you wait til your legs aren't numb anymore before you go see the baby if she's in the NICU or you take her back to the room with you after the surgery. I had to wait and they came in to say I could go in like an hour and I started kicking my legs and was like "look I can move them can I go back now????" Lol they made me go in a wheelchair anyways so idk why I had to wait 😒 lol
@kristellecdn87 She's my first. I was nervous for the shot but seriously it didn't hurt lol felt like someone poked me with a pencil or something lol
Yes you feel the pressure of them doing stuff but it doesn't hurt at all. Like it's not bad pressure or anything you can just tell they are moving stuff lol
@kristellecdn87 Yeah I wish someone would have explained to me what happened before I went for one. People who I know told me the shot hurt more than anything and it honestly didn't. It was a tiny little poke. Now if you have an epidural I can't tell you if it hurts or not l.
My bf's cousin's gf told me that took her organs out to get to the baby and I said that to the doctors in the OR and they all just started laughing 😂
@arcsmomma also is this ur first baby as well? Or first c section. Were u nervous? And yes im now nervous about that silly shot lol im excited too at the same time and im glad ur able to recover so quick and soon. U gotta be strong for urself and your baby. And did the pressure hurt? I keep watching videos and people saying they feel pressure. My mom is like no u feel nothing lol
My c-section was super easy. I was hoping for a c-section the whole time lol just got lucky that she flipped back into breech lol
After they prep you they take you to the OR, either give you an epidural or a spinal block (i had a spinal block) I was more scared about the shot in the back than being cut open lol people made it sound so much worse than it was. You lay down and within like 2 minutes under your boobs and down is completely numb. You can feel the pressure of what they are doing but feel absolutely no pain (it's a weird/cool feeling when they pull the baby out) and if your partner is in the OR with you (they will be next to your head and can hold your hand) they let them know right before they pull the baby out so they can take pics if you want or just watch, you'll have a sheet at your neck so you can't see. Then they close you up. I had dissolvable staples some people get stitches. The anesthesiologist is with you the Whole time and they talk to you. You might throw up from the numbing medicine but it's completely normal, I threw up a little but. Whole process took maybe 15 minutes? I was up and walking around the next day which the nurses said was impressive and I stopped asking for pain meds about 2 days after. I was sore but not in pain.
