I don't ask my husband to help in the house I just ask him to keep the kids entertained while I clean😁 but he does help so much inside and outside the house lol but if I could only convince him to milk our goat lol🤔

@elizabethq481 honestly I believe it because it what we were told and taught for years that women handle the kids, the house and keeping husband happy and men only work. It became a traditional thing that many mother's before us followed the other half wasn't going lol if marriage should be an equal thing then the parenting and handling the household should be equal also. We are supposed to treat each other as partners and not maids. Many men's fail to see that they are treating their partner as maids. The women who are defensive to this topic is because they believe what they have been taught.

She does....... my oldest son and my daughter can butcher rabbits by themselves..... and my oldest son(6) can butcher a pig by himself(not kill it......i don't want him shooting that big Of a gun by himself)

@nessairieray my mom was a single parent and made sure that i knew a woman could do just as much as a man(If not better than some men lol)

@jasthorpe413, @elizabethq481, my husband does help out too when I'm cleaning or he cleans our bedroom and makes the bed but the kitchen is off limits lol I have OCD 😂😂😂

@nessairieray i feel you there i have ocd about my dish washer lol my husband tries to load it but i always go back and rearrange it..... but i love that he helps........i kinda feel bad for going behind him and fixing it but it bugs me if I don't

Cleaning up after himself, yes. I believe if the mom isnt working, she needs to do the house chores. If she is overwhelmed with things, he needs to pitch in.

Yes, he should help. He should want to help. My husband works and sometimes has to do overtime, he is selfless and always helping other people so I try not to ask him for help. I only ask when I am completely exhausted or it's been an extremely overwhelming day. I think husband's should help because if the roles were reversed I would still help.
