Yep. Most of the time if you apply for foodstamps with children, they push for child support too. It all goes thru dept of children and family services.

Yea me and my bf had to apply for medicate together so they wouldn't charge him we didn't qualify for food stamps tho they said he made to much and bearly even qualified for medicate in which I can't work because if I do will be making to much and won't qualify for it either it really sucks 😒

@babyabilene I applied alone because we really aren't married and we were not going to be together due to some bad things going on between me and him plus he didn't work

@adrianasmtz1994 I would suggest making sure you tell him before they contact him. It will be an easier situation to deal with if it comes straight from you.

Don't know if this will work for you but I told my caseworker that he does support my girls with diapers, wipes, clothing occasionally, and primary insurance and that it wouldn't be necessary. Haven't had to file yet.
