how long after a move, do you think we should get a puppy? We are gonna be living with my parents (in a different part of the house while paying our own expenses) but my parents are saying no to dogs. If we pay for the dogs, should we just get one?

You are under their roof I would listen to what they have to say... just like when you rent from someone they say no animals that's means no animals

Sounds like you kinda already have your mind made up. Lol my parents always said no but once I brought the puppy home they fell in love. Lol it really depends on how well you really know your parents and how they will react. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats but I'm also married. And he said no to lmao😂but he wouldn't change anything now he is a softy lol

@arose29 I don't have my mind made up. I'm just stating other facts that go along with this. My husband said a month after we move, we will revisit the idea.

@kylesmom16 not only is it THEIR roof, it's not like it was their place and I am moving in. We got this place together. And also it would be an outside dog.
