Everytime I leave the room Mason wakes up. How to get him to the point where he doesn't need me to put him to sleep?
Or is he too young for that right now? I mean after all he's only 4MO

My son still needs me in room. I just wait until I know he's fully asleep . Then leave

Yea my son was the same way . I had to be a ninja to get away . make no noise. Have you tried having a fan on so he's not in total silence also it could be sleep regression it makes nap times harder

@momofdeuce, he usually naps in the living room with me but my sister moved with me and when they come in the house he always wakes up.

I also would just walk away leave for a few minutes more than 5 if he's crying then I'll come back soothe him while he's still laying down. Crying usually tires him out a little more and allows him to fall asleep easier. But yet I still have to be in the room for his comfort
