Ok so I have a question for the mom of boys. My two week old got circumcised last Thursday and everything looks fine. Since yesterday he has been somehow peeing outside his pamper. One minute we can check him and the next he's wet like his shirt, pamper and blanket. At first we suspected that maybe his little man is up instead of down when we put the pamper on. Recently we started making sure we point his little man down when we put his pamper on. Somehow he is still managing to be wet all over. His newborn size pampers fit fine so I can't think of an issue. His doctor seen him this past Monday and checked his circumcision so that was fine. I just don't know what it is. Any suggestions?

@kyenkenmom when the diaper is either tight or not keeping urine or poop in it's mostly mean it's time to move up a size. Hopefully that the only case for you. Babies don't stay in newborn diapers for too long because how fast they grows and the weight they pick up

@deafmama16, I agree! I just thought about it we been putting a lot of Vaseline on the front of the pamper so the urine could not be soaking into the pamper but instead rolling out since he has completely healed from circumcision...I won't know until tomorrow tho because I'm not stopping the Vaseline until it has been a week since circumcision

I was just about to ask if you were using Vaseline. Since you are I agree that that's what's most likely causing him to pee out of his diaper. The Vaseline is causing a barrier and preventing the pee from actually soaking into the diaper.

@jae, thanks! That's what me and my husband was thinking and it just started like yesterday so I'm assuming it's because he has healed from circumcision

This happened To us too. After we stopped using the Vaseline on his diaper, he stopped peeing outside his diaper. I think it's most likely the Vaseline!
