My daughter won't use the bathroom at daycare. She screams every time her teacher tries to take her. So today when I picked her up I put her on the toilet and she didn't even cry. She sat down and went pee, wiped herself, flushed, and washed her hands just like she does at home. Hopefully if I continue to do this when I pick her up she will let her teacher take her potty when I'm not there.

@samgagne, I started on her first birthday. I bought her a seat that goes on the toilet and every time I went in the bathroom I brought her with and sat her on the toilet. Now I'll tell her "lets go potty." She'll run to the bathroom and knock on the door. She's not 100% potty trained but it's a work in progress. Just have to get her used to the daycare bathroom so she's practicing over there as well.

@babynessa, I wanted to started my son on his first birthday but everyone laughed at me and was good luck with that but I'm sticking to it

@samgagne, don't listen to them. It takes time but if your consistent you'll have a child in underwear in no time.
