Do i let people treat me wrong?? im seriously asking. is that even a thing? Ive heard of that quote, people only treat you the way you let them. but is that even accurate? how do you let someone treat you a certain way or talk to you a certain way. and if its the wrong way how do you make them stop.

I think what people mean when they say that is, someone can treat you a certain way once and that is their fault, but if it continues then you are allowing it.. Like if a woman has a verbally abusive boyfriend, she's allowing it by continuing to stay and put up with it.

The best way to treat someone that may talk to you in a wrong way is to respond with kindness. It's much easier said than done but I've noticed it always conquers. Being genuine and not having hatred in your heart.

Yes that is very accurate. The quote is "you teach people how to treat you". If you allow someone to cheat on you they will, if you let someone hit you they will, if you let someone treat you with respect then they will.
