So my husbands' grandmother just told him that I may be pregnant but he doesn't have a child and told him don't say he has a child if the baby isn't here .... Needless to say, my husband is pissed.. but I don't know how to feel since his family has been saying hurtful things to me since him and I were dating.....

Don't put up with it. They have no right and if they get mad then let them stay mad with their rude asses. You can't be letting them treat you like crap, especially after your baby is here.

I agree that family is important, but real family wouldn't treat you like crap. Blood doesn't make a family, respect and love does. They obviously aren't giving you that.

My boyfriends mom is the same way, we've been together for almost 4 years, but she has hated me since day one. Her main reason is because I'm white and they are Mexican so "I'm not good enough for him". He was tired of her being ridiculous so he has cut her off and hasn't talked to her in months. Sometimes family just doesn't mean anything to some people, it sucks, but you shouldn't let them be rude to you if you haven't done anything wrong, it's not your fault they have a stick up their butt.

@babyboy1117, I've literally been there through the death of his great grandmother, every surgery his mother has had to go thru and a custody battle between his sister and social services... but all the women in his family seem to think I'm still temporary and was pissed when they found out we were legally married.... and now they're telling him not to get to excited about this baby because there is a chance that something could happen
