If he doesn't sign the birth certificate you will have to go to court, they will court order a DNA test to make sure baby is his, then that's when child support will begin.

So if you want child support I think you'd have to go to court if he doesnt want involvement. If you'd rather have him stay away you can ask him to sign his rights over and thats that
