Rethinking my decision to home school. He wants to play with other kids so bad. School is for learning, but friends are also made there. I'm at home all day so I want to be the one to teach him. He seems so lonely

@kambam he's turning 4 in a few months, but there's not a whole lot he can do until he's 5. And there's the worry about money

Right, I hear that. Personally I think kids should mostly be playing/learning through actions. When they're older is a good time to homeschool so they can soak up good info and be less distracted by peers. Maybe you can find local moms for playgroup or start a small daycare business whose emphasis is on creative learning? With one child similar age. Just some ideas. At my martial arts school we also start accepting students at 3 or 4 😊

@kambam sorry I'm super late. Thanks for the ideas. I live in a small town and I just moved here so finding playdates have been so hard lol

Girl I feel it 😂 my son is 1 and I think had maybe 2 official playdates. Anything else was us following other kids and moms around 😂
