Blood pressure was high again so now I have to collect my urine for 24 hours and turn it into the lab and also have blood drawn. Is this how they tell if I have gestational hypertension? They tested my urine last week while I was at the doctors for protein in it and she said there wasnt any. Any advice or anyone going/been through this?

Preeclampsia is what they are testing for. I had that done my last pregnancy! Had to be induced!

How many weeks were you induced at?

If your pee doesn't have alot of protein in it they will monitor you until you are far enough to deliver. Around 37wks I had way too much protein in my urine, and was induced that day!

They said they checked it last week while I was at the Dr buy she said I didnt have any protein in my urine.

@gsalazar1999 the doctor told me that if you have to much protein in yourburine it comes from having to much in your kidneys.

@gsalazar1999 I doubt there is anything for you to worry about since your blood pressure is good. Its what your kidney pass through urination at low levels.
