Just found out we're having a boy and feel disappointed. This is why people should just keep their gender comments to themselves. My in laws constantly told me their family ONLY has boys. My family always said they wanted a girl, so i feel like I've failed on both accounts. And I feel guilty for not being happier. Anyone else experience these feelings? Btw--I've ALWAYS wanted a boy first. I'm so upset they took this away from me.

I know. I always wanted a boy first. And I know usually they're easier. I'm just angry at all the outside influences that took away my ability to be happy about it.

Don't let them ruin the beautiful moment of finally finding out the gender of YOUR baby, it's such an amazing feeling to finally know. Who cares what others say it's YOUR baby and no one should be so selfish to take that feeling away from you! btw boys are awesome especially later on if and when you have a girl, she will have a big brother to protect her always 👍🏼
