Before having other kids I would first take my son to the park around a year old. Once i had more kids the little one would get to experience the swing around 5 or 6 months old
I took my son at 5 months (in February the weather was oddly very warm haha) to just use the swing. When he was able to crawl I'd take him to the baby park to let him crawl around, now it's more fun because he can pull himself up and play with the toys at the park

Started taking my son to the park at 5 months he loves it. If you're worried about swing germs I just used our basket cover
