Anyone end up with stretch marks? If not, what did you use or do to prevent? I know it can be genetic but I'm always curious about the ladies that have sisters and moms with stretch marks but they don't get them. I started my pregnancy about 15 lbs over my ideal weight which I know would either increase or worsen stretch marks if they do happen but I'm definitely open to suggestions to reducing the possibility!

There really isnt much that can be done 😣 I didnt get any. Maybe a little on my boobs. But I did work out very regularly before and during pregnancy. Having muscle under the skin helps. There's nothing wrong with them though. They are beautiful and will also fade with time.

Eating healthy and staying active does help. I've heard vitamin e oil is good for fading them quickly. My sister got them bad but mine weren't as bad. To be honest they're so faded now they arent that noticeable. I went on vacation with some friends and they didn't notice until i pointed them out.

Thanks ladies! Eating better and exercising more is something I gotta work on. I've had no appetite for certain foods and feel like napping all the time!

I guess I'm ok with a few stretch marks if they fade. I'm more worried about excess skin that just flops everywhere lol

@carusod91 that's what happened to my sister but she gained more weight than recommended. I didn't and it took awhile but my skin did tighten back up and the stretch marks faded.

Well. I guess that's life! If it happens, it happens. As long as baby is healthy. Thanks for the responses, ladies.
