So last night was my night to go out while SO stays home with our son! Well I was drinking liquor so I was done and out by 1 a (yes I am a lightweight!) so he decided since I was home passed out in bed it was okay for him to go out!! I was pissed when I found out this morning because I was in no state of mind to take care of our son!! God forbid he go out one a weekend and then take my night at it too! Men 🙄🙄

I see way too many women on here complaining about their husbands going out without them. Seems like a huge issue for people. I don't see how its right for either person to go out without the other. In my opinion I didn't marry my husband so I could go hang out with my friends at a bar. I married him so we could spend time together making memories and discovering new interested. It feels like no one puts an effort into their relationship anymore. No one cares about quality time. Going out to a bar and getting drunk shouldn't be socially acceptable. No matter who you do it with. Because it always leads to a fight or someone acting like an ass.

@ilovemychildren, so your saying I shouldn't be going out with my friends ever? Because I don't know about you sometimes spending time much time together causes annoying problems...and this was the first time I gone out In months! Caused a fight because he listened to his friends and not me...I personally don't need to spend 24/7 with my fiancé (by the way we are not married 3 more months) so we are trying to get our time I. With our friends while we can and before we move and get married cuz we are leaving the state away...so please don't be posting judgmental comments on my post when you don't know the whole story

@sharonpaige13 you seem like you're not getting the point of my comment which is going out to bars.

I would be mad too he was supposed to be there with your son so you could drink and not have to worry cause you knew you wouldn't be able to do your mommy duties... and we all need to go out without our SO every now and then. You're in a relationship not conjoined at the hip 😂

@ilovemychildren so what if she wants to go out to a bar. Thats her choice not yours. You choose to stay home spend time with your husband. Every relationship is different. She wasn't complaining about her relationship she was just venting.

@ilovemychildren I completely understand and agree with you. There are places you just don't belong. Going out to a bar without your significant other is just a way to ask for trouble. We even talked about it in our premarital prep through the catholic church. We also saw it destroy my husband's parents' marriage of forty years. There are things that you need to do to protect your marriage and keep it strong. Going out to a bar without your significant other makes that bond weaker and puts your relationship at risk. It isn't a good plan. You can do things with your friends that don't involve going out and getting smashed. If you can't think of anything, it should tell you a lot about your friends. @sharonpaige13 if you question what I'm saying ask yourself how this fight is good for your relationship with your husband and how it also effects your kids. Neither of you belong out at the bar alone. A great example is your fiance choosing to listen to his friends over you. I'm not judging you at all. It's just something to think about. I understand your frustration with his choice. I'd have been pissed too. However, with what happened to my husband's parents, we decided that we wouldn't put our relationship at risk. Prior to their split, we use to do it. It definitely resulted in more problems.

@mct, honey....I wasn't fighting with him!!!!! I was just venting in here so I didn't go off in him so we don't fight! That is what I always do! It's easier to vent so you can get a few thoughts then talk about it I don't know what relationship you are in but we don't just sit around at home all the time! We are leaving here soon so we are taking turns going out and seeing our friends NOTHING IS WRONG WITH OUR RELATIONSHIP LOL you guys act like I am actually fighting lol

@mct, also hello we are engaged and I am catholic and took those classes we already done all that I was AVOIDING a fight with him lol

Omg. This is real? People are complaining that you went out to have fun without your SO? Its completely normal. My fiance go fishing one on one with his dying father. I go out one on one with mother. Hes gone fishing with his friends while i stayed home. Ive gone hiking with a friend without my fiance. Why is this an issue? Knowing you were drunk, he should NOT have gone out. At all. If he wanted a night out, he should've chose a different night. He was acting irresponsibly.

@sharonpaige13 I understand you are engaged. I also am not saying that you have to live that way or judging you if you don't. I was trying to help explain what the first girl was saying. All she was trying to say is there are certain situations that aren't great to be in. It doesn't mean you can't have time out with your friends. It doesn't mean you can't do things of your own. The only thing we are trying to say is that going out to a bar without your fiance/husband can lead to bad choices. It's a risk and can weaken your relationship. That's it. It isn't saying your relationship is weak, just that overtime it could hurt you two as a couple. We both said what we said because we cared and just thought it might give you something to consider. You have to do what works for you and him, not anyone else. Every couple is different. Again, no judgment! I understand both sides. Like I said, when we were engaged, I did the same thing. Continue to vent when you need to, just remember some people may make suggestions that have worked for them. They may not work for you, and that is okay. Most people are just trying to help. Wishing you the best!

Woah. I have girls nights with my friends and I'm married. GASP! What?!?!? How crazy of me. I always go home. Which clearly @sharonpaige13 did. She wasn't out doing anything inappropriate. She was blowing off steam and having fun with friends. As for hubby(or soon to be hubby) that was completely inappropriate. I hope you gave him hell!
