I had to be on cough suppressant and some more crap when I had this . It's really painful. I lost my voice for two weeks. I generally get it almost every spring . But FYI it is contagious. So if hold off kissing and just keep washing hands frequently ,,, oh and lots of Lysol. I hated dealing with it so I always worried about my hubby and kid catching it.

@adrianasmtz1994, you can go simply to an urgent care and they can check you out. It's a viral infection so they have meds to help you out. It's not one of those where they just let it run it's course .
