One year ago today, after almost 40 hours of labor, my baby girl was born. I still vividly remember her reaching up to touch my face as they placed her in my arms for the first time, and her opening her eyes as I said, "Hi, baby!"

My itty bitty 6lb baby is now 23lbs, and as of last night, now stands by herself! She knows A,B,C and 1,2,3, and I can't even keep up with how many words she says. She loves looking at herself in the mirror on a camera, so much that she'll actually kiss her reflection or picture 😂

I am amazed at just how fast this year has flown by. It has not been easy by a long shot, but it has been the most beautiful year of my life so far, and I'm so blessed to be able to say I am her mama.

My baby girl is a year old today. She loves to talk, she tries to sing along with the radio, she loves books and classical music. She sleeps through the night. She likes to make a mess and then try to put everything back where it goes. She is beautiful, she is smart, and she is quite literally the light of my life. She has taught me patience, compassion, and how to survive off of 2hrs of sleep. She's made us a little family, and that's all I could ever ask for. 💜💜 Happy birthday, baby girl. Mommy loves you.
