I know it is hard. But the best thing you can do is do controlled crying or just leave him to cry I know it sounds awful. But he knows every time he cries you will go in there and get him @abbiiqx, xx

@charliefreddiesmumma861 @missashleyanne thanks girls, I did control crying for the first night and it worked for him to get to sleep then he woke at 3am, but last night it just was not working he was working himself up so much he was boiling hot, coughing and all sorts I just felt bad 🙈. I'm going to try it again and try not give up as easy next time 😂 but oh definatly not easy I'll take teething over this any day haha. I will win the battle 😂 xx

Whatever method you decide to use. You have to stick with it. It won't work after 1 or 3 or maybe even a week. It may work but then he challenges it again. I know it's draining but you have to be consistant. Morgan was relatively easy as a baby apart from growth spurts, teething etc but Max has been way more hard work when it comes to sleeping! I go to Max if he wakes & gets upset. But I never get him out of his cot. I'll reassure him, give him his comforter, say goodnight & leave. I repeat this until he settles. Now I usually only have to do that once or twice but if he has a bad night I can be up & down like a yo-yo. It's tiring but I can't have him in our bed. He's getting too big & I want him to sleep in his own bed.

@sara-lou86 thanks hun. Yeah I'm terrible I get huge guilt just looking at his face, last night I did it for several hours and I just felt so guilty so gave in. I'm going to try it again on my week off so I'm ready for it, I think I was naive in thinking he would take to it as he is such a good sleeper but he just freaked. I'll be getting the energy drinks in and I think I'll be ready for it much better then now I know what I'm in for xx
