Dear fellow mommies or preggies,
I gained a lot of weight in my early pregnancy, before I even knew I was pregnant. And I've honestly been scared to diet to loose it. So I've stayed that weight, and soon I'll be at my third trimester. I'm trying to realistically think about postpartum, when I want to get my body back how hard that'll be considering I'm eating pure crap and not exercising at all. I feel like such a bad mom for not being healthy!!
Any tips on weight control / mild diet during pregnancy? I'm not trying to loose a ton of weight as I know that's dangerous during pregnancy. I want to do this as safe as possible!! But I'd like to shed a few pounds just because my BMI is so high and I feel so out of shape. I wanna be better prepared physically for labor and taking care of a newborn! I don't think it's too late to turn things around.
There are a couple groups. @erinflaherty818, @booboosmommy, @jordyn_beth, @mamabird.n.babybird, @lexishai all have various health groups
Okay great!!! Thanks for the insight guys! My mom is a doula and a training midwife so I get lectures all the time. But sometimes it's just nice to have more insight from a crowd on shared experience.
@avie, @amouryaya09,
Like @amouryaya09, said. Up your water intake. If you're really trying to cleanse everything that the "bad food" left behind. It'll also help with swelling inside and outside of your pregnant body. Also try and start eating more veggies. When I was pregnant and went on a junk binge I'd have a plate packed full of veggies and a little fruit two hours before bed time, loading up on fiber. High fiber foods are great for pregnancy and they fill you up as well. I'm doing a mombassador chat in the app (this Tuesday) on fitness and wellness during pregnancy and postpartum. Definitely check it out & ask me some questions there ☺️
Hi! Like you, I gained a crap ton with my first two babies and by the third, I knew I had to be smarter about my pregnancy. Its definitely not too late to turn it around! Message me if you'd like to try one of the free groups I run! :)
